adult education

Come As You Are - All Are Welcome

welcome to adult education at fpcb!

We offer many ways for adults to grow in faith through Bible studies, small groups, and other educational opportunities. Throughout the year, we provide 4–8 week Bible studies during the day and on weeknights. In addition, several groups meet weekly for prayer, Bible study, and fellowship.

Confirmation

Elevate Together is our student worship night, where we gather for a fantastic time of fun, games, and, of course, worship. Whether we're playing a thrilling game of dodgeball, enjoying delicious snacks, or singing, we embrace the opportunity to worship while having a blast!

Youth Retreats

Each winter, we take a group of middle and high school students to participate in Spring Hill Winter Retreats. These weekend retreats are packed with prayer, worship, and a ton of fun activities like broomball, tubing, paintball, horseback riding, laser tag, high ropes course, crafts, games and more! Registration for Springhill is due in December and the retreat dates typically fall in mid-January to early February.

Youth Mission Trip

Every summer, students entering 9th grade through graduating seniors have the option of participating in the Youth Mission Trip. The mission trip is a week-long trip focused on serving local communities or participating in service projects in other states. Service typically includes construction projects, helping with children’s programming, and community clean up and service opportunities. Along with the work, there are times for worship, small and large group discussion, and devotional time.

Study. Reflect. Grow.

Adult Bible Study

All are invited to participate in various Adult Bible Studies throughout the year. Explore Scripture and connect with others through meaningful conversation and study. These studies offer opportunities to learn together and deepen your relationship with God in a welcoming community.

Building Connections. Starting Conversations.

Let's Talk About It

The “Let’s Talk About It” series features one-night gatherings centered around a shared meal, fellowship, and meaningful conversation. Each event highlights a different mission organization, nonprofit, or topic related to faith and life.

These gatherings are an opportunity to build connections within our church and with our wider community, creating space for conversation and relationship-building beyond the walls of our church.

This group rotates between discussion/studying scripture, discussions around daily meditations, and books we read together. We share discussions around common topics we face in our daily lives. Each Friday is independent discussions.
