Mission
Mission and Outreach
Our Mission Statement calls us to “reach out” and share the Good News of the Gospel with the world and our local community through awareness of the needs of others and by positioning ourselves to serve.
For many years, we have committed 10% of our annual budget to mission work, both locally and globally. In addition to this commitment, we offer a monthly designated mission offering, known as the “Mission of the Month.”
We also organize annual mission trips for both adults and youth, serving areas of need across the United States and in Guatemala. We have been sending missionaries to Guatemala for nearly 20 years. These mission trips are funded through church auctions, parishioner donations, and other special fundraising events.
Our Mission Team continually seeks to be attentive to the needs of our congregation, our local community, and communities around the world. It is our prayer and purpose to serve in meaningful ways in the Name of Christ.
The Mission Purpose Team meets on the third Monday of the odd months at 6:30pm. If you are interested in joining the team, please contact Associate Pastor, Alli Webb, allisonw@brightonpresbyterian.org or by phone: (810) 227-7411 ext. 226.
